Job summary

Tetra Tech in Cardiff is seeking a Graduate Ground Investigation Engineer to join our national geo-environmental team. The role focuses on supervising geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations across South Wales and beyond, with hands-on project exposure and limited site work.

Based in Cardiff, you will be supported by experienced colleagues as you progress toward professional qualifications, with a structured development programme and regular training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology, environmental science or related subject.
• Full driving licence, ideally with access to a vehicle.
• Suitability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, procuring, supervising and managing geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations across sites.
• Work on site-based investigations primarily across South Wales with opportunities UK-wide.
• Develop technical capability through site-based work, mentoring and training.
