Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Geo-environmental Engineer to join our Cardiff team. You will support design, procurement, supervision and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations across development, health, education, and infrastructure projects.

You will deliver desk studies, log boreholes, coordinate labs, monitor groundwater and ground gas, and produce factual and interpretative reports, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in geology, engineering geology or environmental science.
• Practical ground investigation experience (scoping, logging, monitoring, reporting).
• Full driving licence.
• Desirable: CAT/Genny, SSSTS/SMSTS, Water Hygiene, First Aid, CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, procurement, supervision and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations across development, health, education, defence and infrastructure clients.
• Deliver desk studies, scope and set up site investigations, log boreholes, schedule labs, undertake groundwater and ground gas monitoring, and produce accurate factual and interpretative reporting.
