Job summary

Amey in Belfast invites applications for a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to support our consulting team on infrastructure projects across the UK. You’ll gain hands-on experience from day one, working with dedicated mentors to develop practical skills in ground investigations, design support and asset inspection.

Starting salary £31,000, 40-hour week, and a September 2027 start date, with hybrid working options and a clear development pathway within a diverse, inclusive environment focused on

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Postgraduate study (MEng, MSc or PhD) and industrial experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce desk studies and plan ground investigations.
• Carry out geotechnical asset inspections on major infrastructure.
• Prepare specifications, drawings and design reports.
• Deliver multidisciplinary schemes with colleagues across Amey Consulting.
