Job summary

Mott MacDonald invites graduates to join our Geotechnics Practice for a three-year Accelerating your Future programme. You’ll learn from global experts across ground engineering disciplines while contributing to major underground and civil projects.

You will receive mentor support, participate in training, and work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, innovative solutions. Cambridge office options are available.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical fields or expected by 2025.
• Strong interest in geotechnical and tunnelling projects.
• Candidates should have less than 12 months of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare desk studies.
• Plan, supervise and report ground investigations per Eurocode 7.
• Develop visualisation of digital ground data using Leapfrog/Openground.
• Contribute to ground model interpretation and parameter derivation for design and risk management.
• Perform soil and rock mechanics analyses for foundations, slopes, earthworks and retaining structures.
