Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join the team. This is an entry-level position suitable for a graduate or someone with up to one year’s experience to develop within a supportive consultancy.

The role will cover ground investigations, contaminated land, environmental monitoring and technical reporting across London and the UK, with opportunities for training and chartership support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Geo-Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or related subject.
• Ground investigation or contaminated land experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel across London and the UK.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence or working towards one.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ground investigations across London
• Soil and rock logging
• Groundwater and ground gas monitoring
• Support Phase I and Phase II assessments
• Environmental and geotechnical sampling
• Assist with contaminated land and remediation projects
• Prepare technical reports

A leading environmental and engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join their London team. This is a great opportunity for a graduate or candidate with up to one year’s experience to develop their career within a supportive and expanding consultancy.

The Graduate Engineering Geologist will work across ground investigation, contaminated land, environmental monitoring and technical reporting projects throughout London and the UK.
