Job summary

b3 jobs ltd is seeking a Graduate Food Technologist to work across a varied client portfolio on food safety, labelling, compliance, and supplier management. The role is hybrid and based in Oxfordshire, with a salary of £28,000–£30,000 depending on experience.

You will provide technical advisory support to clients on food safety and legislation, assist with supplier due diligence and review product labelling against UK requirements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a food or related industry role.
• Degree in food science, nutrition or related discipline preferred.
• Willingness to learn and can-do attitude.
• Some exposure to food safety, labelling or quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory support to clients on food safety, legislation and compliance.
• Support supplier due diligence assessments for wholesale/retail clients.
• Review product labelling against UK legislation and food law requirements; review/manage specifications and technical documentation.
• Contribute to product benchmarking and shelf-life assessment activity.
