Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Birmingham is offering a 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme for a Graduate Fire Engineer.

You will join a fire engineering team and work on multidisciplinary projects, developing your technical skills under experienced mentors and pursuing professional accreditation. You’ll contribute to reports, design documentation, and client meetings, with a strong emphasis on fire safety fundamentals and real-world application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with modules relating to Fire Safety and Fire Engineering.
• Knowledge of Pyrosim and FDS would be beneficial.
• Interest in Buildings sector and professional development aligned with CEng status.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of fire engineering projects by applying fundamental engineering principles.
• Contribute to technical assessments, reports, and design documentation.
• Attend project, design team, and client meetings with supervision.
• Develop technical knowledge and professional skills through mentoring and project experience.
