Job summary

SLB is seeking a Graduate Field Engineer in Aberdeen, Scotland. This program develops future managers and technical leaders, emphasizing product knowledge, leadership, customer interaction and delivering engineering scope on time.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering (2:2 or above).
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-value, technically complex product environment.
  • Advanced English and French required.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Execute service delivery to the customer.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
  • Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards via CAT, self-assessments and well site inspections.
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  • Maintain the required safety training.

Job Summary:

Graduate Engineers play a crucial role in a company's growth by becoming its future managers and technical leaders. This position requires the holder to develop skills in product knowledge, leadership, customer interaction, and delivering all aspects of the Engineering scope of supply accurately and promptly. As a Graduate Engineer, you will have opportunities to obtain professional membership with an institution. You will learn the business from the ground up and become a skilled and confident specialist in the sector.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Execute service delivery to the customer.
  • Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
  • Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
  • Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT), self-assessments, and well site inspections.
  • Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
  • Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
  • Maintain the required safety training.
Qualifications:
  • BS or MS: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering (other closely related degrees considered) of a 2:2 standard or above.
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business on high-value, technically complex products/projects.
  • Advance and professional English and French.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
