Mott MacDonald is seeking a Graduate Environmental Specialist to join our environmental team and support live water and wastewater projects. You will help identify environmental risks from early design through construction to completion and participate in our 12-month Early Careers Development Programme designed to grow your skills and network.

• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a directly related subject.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, good organisation and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Identify environmental risks throughout the project lifecycle from design to completion.
• Support teams to develop practical environmental mitigation measures considering compliance, safety, cost and social impacts.
• Plan and coordinate specialist inputs (ecology, heritage, archaeology) to meet timelines and standards.
• Assist with environmental deliverables including management plans, permits and technical reports.
• Collaborate with design, construction teams, clients and regulators to achieve positive environmental outcomes.
