Job summary

Assystem invites graduates to join its two-year Graduate Programme in Environmental Services in the UK. You’ll support energy and infrastructure projects, applying ecology or water pathway knowledge to live workstreams.

You’ll collaborate with experienced environmental consultants, gain experience on live projects, and develop skills in data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement while advancing your specialist knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ecology or Environmental Science or a closely related field.
• For the water pathway, Geology, Hydrogeology or Hydrology related studies are acceptable.
• Interest in developing a career in ecology or the water environment.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and undertake site visits.

Responsibilities

• From day one, contribute to live energy and infrastructure projects, using environmental data to help project teams make responsible decisions.
• Support ecological or water related surveys, site walkovers and environmental monitoring.
• Collect, manage and analyse environmental data using tools such as Excel and GIS.
• Assist with environmental assessments, technical reports, management plans and project documentation.
• Help identify environmental risks and impacts associated with project design and construction.
• Support compliance with environmental legislation, standards and monitoring requirements.
• Collaborate with environmental specialists, designers, engineers, construction teams, clients and regulators.
