Assystem is launching a Graduate Programme focused on planning, consenting and infrastructure delivery. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to identify and secure permissions for energy and infrastructure projects across the UK.

You'll gain exposure to legislation, stakeholder engagement and project delivery while developing skills in consents, environmental requirements and regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Graduates who have recently completed or expect to complete a degree in Town Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Management, Infrastructure Planning, Geography, Law, Engineering, Archaeology, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Interest in how major energy and infrastructure projects are planned, approved and delivered.
• Willingness to learn planning, consenting, environmental and infrastructure legislation.

Responsabilités

• Identify, coordinate and deliver project consents and approvals.
• Assist with site appraisals, consent applications, reports and supporting documentation.
• Maintain consent, commitment and requirement registers with up-to-date information.
• Monitor applications, approvals and actions and provide progress updates to teams.
• Support post-consent activities including discharge of requirements and certification.
• Collaborate with planners, environmental specialists, engineers and project managers.
• Engage with clients, local authorities, regulators, statutory bodies and delivery partners.
• Identify consenting risks, delays or non-compliance and escalate appropriately.
