Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd in Coventry is hiring a Graduate English Teaching Assistant to support students with English, literacy and communication skills in a secondary school setting. You will work alongside experienced teachers, provide 1:1 and small-group support across the English curriculum, help with reading and writing development, and assist with differentiated tasks.

Qualifications

• An English, English Literature or closely related degree, ideally at 2:1 or above.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for English.
• A genuine interest in working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support across the English curriculum.
• Help students develop reading, writing and comprehension skills.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and differentiated tasks.
• Encourage students to participate and engage positively with English.
• Share feedback on student progress where appropriate.
