Do you want to be part of the Green Transition? Can you contribute to our growth? Are you graduating in Civil or Structural Engineering this year? Then, this is the place to apply your knowledge and curiosity to enable a better tomorrow.

Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

To grow our Civil/Structural team, we are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join us. Working on infrastructure projects you’ll co-create on some of the most prestigious programmes in the UK. You'll also be supported by our engineers on your ongoing professional development (Chartership) with a tailored plan to achieve your career aspirations.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  1. Producing engineering designs, assessments, and evaluations in accordance with project requirements.
  2. Checking design calculations and drawings done by other engineers.
  3. Performing a wide variety of engineer activities including collating and understanding data, running analysis, developing calculation methods, and working with colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality project work.
  4. Contributing to the dissemination of engineering good practice and implementation of our in-house tools such as the carbon calculation tool.
  5. With the support of your project manager, plan and prioritise your workload, reporting back on progress against a project budget and programme.
  6. Responsible for delivering your own work to a high technical standard, ensuring accuracy through a diligent and conscientious approach to self-checking. Attending site visits or client meetings.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you’ll have:
  1. Studied to obtain a bachelor's or master's degree either in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng, BSc, Meng, MSc) with aspirations to become a Chartered Engineer.
  2. Ideally have some experience of working in an engineering environment (such as a year in industry or summer placements).
  3. Demonstrated a deep understanding and passion for engineering and a personal commitment to technical excellence.
  4. The ability and desire to work in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team.
  5. Good communication skills and teamwork.
