Position: Graduate Civil or Structural Design Engineer

Location: Dunstable

They are seeking a candidate to join their growing engineering team. While experience in temporary works or steel design is preferred, strong graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Skills Required:

1. An engineering degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
2. Excellent maths and general numeracy skills, including trigonometry
3. 2D AutoCAD skills
4. Knowledge of 3D drafting/modeling is a bonus
5. Knowledge of temporary works
6. Ability to read and understand engineering plans, section details, and general arrangements
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
8. Advanced IT skills

The Role:

You will produce designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD and analysis software. You will also prepare scheme layout technical drawings, supporting calculations, and analysis in a timely, clear, and concise manner to help clients understand how to erect and safely use the equipment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Using analysis software and AutoCAD LT (2D) to determine arrangements and solutions applicable to customer requirements.
