Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom invites graduates to join a multidisciplinary energy advisory team. From early projects you'll combine technical engineering with commercial awareness, working across the full project lifecycle from feasibility through design, procurement, construction support and operation.

You will tackle feasibility studies, optioneering for renewable energy, energy storage, heat networks, hydrogen and low-carbon infrastructure, and you’ll develop modelling and analysis to inform

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any numerate discipline.
• Genuine interest in energy, decarbonisation and infrastructure.
• Strong numeracy and data handling skills.
• Clear written, verbal and visual communication.
• Collaborative, proactive and organised with good prioritisation.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Responsibilities

• Support feasibility studies, technical due diligence and optioneering for energy projects.
• Undertake research, data analysis and technical modelling to compare options.
• Participate in site visits, design reviews and client discussions.
• Coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings clearly.
• Contribute to project management, bids and new services development.
