Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is helping a Bristol-based robotics company recruit a Graduate Electrical/Electronics Engineer. You will design, test and evolve high-performance electronic systems for robotics and motion control, collaborating with software and mechanical engineers across the development lifecycle.

You will gain hands-on experience with schematic design, PCB layouts and prototype testing, supported by flexible hours, profit sharing and daily lunches with the CEO.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with Electronics or Electrical or Mechatronics degree.
• Knowledge of PCB design using KiCad or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of analogue, power and digital electronics.
• Knowledge of embedded systems or C/C++ firmware (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design schematic diagrams and multi-layer PCB layouts using KiCad or similar.
• Develop analogue, power and digital electronic systems for robotics and automation.
• Build, test and troubleshoot prototypes using laboratory equipment.
• Work with software and mechanical engineers throughout product development.
• Support design for manufacture (DFM/DFA) and production readiness.
• Receive training and development to build electronics design and engineering skills.
