Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Graduate Electrical/Electronics Engineer for a robotics and motion control role in Bristol. You will contribute to hardware development from concept to production, working on servo drives, robot controllers and integrated motor systems in a hands-on environment.

The role emphasizes designing schematic diagrams and PCB layouts, developing analogue and digital electronics, and testing prototypes.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar.
• Knowledge of PCB design using KiCad or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of analogue, power and digital electronics.
• Interest in embedded systems and firmware development (C/C++).

Responsibilities

• Design schematic diagrams and multi-layer PCB layouts.
• Develop analogue, power and digital electronic systems for robotics and automation.
• Build, test and troubleshoot prototypes using laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with software and mechanical engineers across product development.
• Support design for manufacture (DFM/DFA) and production readiness.
