Job summary

Graduate Electrical Engineer to join AECOM's Water team in Birmingham. You will contribute to electrical design for wastewater and water infrastructure, supporting senior engineers across feasibility, outline, detail and construction design stages.

You’ll engage with multidisciplinary teams, use BIM and digital tools, and help deliver projects for UK water clients within a flexible hybrid working model. We value curiosity, strong reporting, and the drive to pursue Chartered/ Incorporated

Qualifications

MEng in Electrical Engineering (2:1 or above) preferred.
Ambitious, technically proficient with good report writing.
Willing to pursue Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status with the relevant institution.
Demonstrable interest in water projects.

Responsibilities

Electrical design involvement in wastewater and water infrastructure projects across concept to construction design stages.
Produce power supply assessments, load calculations, and single-line diagrams.
Contribute to digital solutions and BIM-based design processes.
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical and process engineers to deliver projects.
