Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to design electrical and instrumentation systems and prepare technical documentation for subcontractors. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting installation, testing and commissioning while ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.

You will review client specifications, produce electrical designs and calculations, and collaborate with suppliers to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in an industrial electrical engineering environment.
Experience with electrical design software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, Inventor).
Understanding of power distribution, control systems and PLCs.
Awareness of IEC and NEC standards is advantageous.
Strong willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

Create electrical and instrumentation system designs and prepare specifications for essential parts.
Provide hands-on support and ensure robust electrical design, calculations and instrumentation.
Review client specifications and produce electrical designs and calculations.
Support installation, testing and commissioning activities.
Participate in FATs, SATs and site inspections.
Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Progress reporting and bottleneck identification.
Coordinate with mechanical engineers to align design.
Ensure accurate execution of designs and drawings within schedule.
Identify and undertake additional training to broaden knowledge.
Collect, monitor, process and analyse data, report findings and provide recommendations.
