Job summary
Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical control and automation projects from early concept through commissioning. The role is based in Cumbria/Lancashire with hybrid working and relocation support for the right candidate, offering varied industrial and commercial projects.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in electrical engineering, a relevant qualification, and strong fault-finding skills, with opportunities to develop towards project management
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing, controls or related environment.
- Experience with control systems, automation and instrumentation.
- Strong fault-finding and machine control system experience.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers to understand requirements and develop engineering solutions.
- Lead delivery and commissioning of electrical control and automation systems.
- Produce electrical/control system drawings and technical documentation.
- Fault-find, diagnose and repair existing machine control systems.
- Support planning, organisation and delivery of engineering projects.
- Complete RAMS, risk assessments and safety documentation.
