Job summary

Stantec in Cardiff invites applications for a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Buildings discipline. You will work with experienced engineers to support electrical building services, from concept design through to construction, gaining hands-on exposure across power, lighting, fire and communications systems.

You’ll participate in the Wales MEP team’s multi-disciplinary projects, benefiting from mentoring, CPD and a clear path toward Chartered status.

Qualifications

• Graduate role for electrical engineers in Cardiff.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
• Graduate development pathway with mentoring and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and coordination of electrical building services across RIBA Stages 1-6.
• Assist with calculations, reports, specifications and drawings with mentoring from experienced engineers.
• Attend design team meetings, site visits and client meetings.
• Contribute to design deliverables ensuring compliance with standards and Building Regulations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop sustainable solutions.
• Develop professional skills through structured CPD and the graduate programme.
