Job summary

Stantec is inviting applications for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in our Birmingham office. You will support MEP project delivery, coordinate across disciplines and develop 3D BIM models, gaining valuable experience in a leading Buildings practice.

We expect a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and familiarity with MS Office. You’ll grow professionally toward IEng/CEng status with a supportive team and extensive development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages (MS Office).
• Interest in working in the Buildings sector; professional accreditation (IEng/CEng) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of MEP projects through mechanical and electrical building services designs.
• Assisting with coordination of designs across disciplines for integrated project delivery.
• Undertaking engineering calculations using industry-standard software tools.
• Contributing to preparation of technical specifications, reports, and design documentation.
• Producing and developing 3D designs and models using BIM and related software.
• Collaborating with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.
