Job summary

Arup is recruiting Graduate Electrical Engineers to join multi-disciplinary design teams across the UK. You will design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and 3D modelling in Revit MEP, supported by an IET accredited training scheme towards professional status.

The role offers extensive training and development opportunities within a collaborative environment, with opportunities to work with architects and other disciplines on buildings projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or strong Bachelor's in Electrical/Architectural/Mechatronics or Building Services.
• IET, CIBSE or Eng. Council accredited course.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency with MS Office and learning 3D design software.
• Proficiency in Excel and building services knowledge.
• Interest in building design and electrical engineering.
• Organised and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthings and lightning protection for buildings.
• Perform short circuit, coordination and maximum demand studies.
• Create lighting photometric modeling.
• Prepare technical reports and calculations.
• Work in 3D using Revit MEP.
• Collaborate with Architects and other disciplines on designs.
