Job summary

Arup is recruiting graduates for Electrical Engineering roles across the UK. You will join multi-disciplinary teams, develop skills through an IET-accredited training scheme, and work on power distribution, lighting and protection systems for buildings.

Strong academic background and willingness to learn in 3D design are essential. You will use Revit MEP for 3D design, perform electrical calculations, and collaborate with Architects and other engineers to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical, Building Services or related engineering field preferred.
• Accredited course by IET, CIBSE or Engineering Council preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and building services.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection, earthing and lightning protection for buildings.
• Conduct short circuit, coordination and maximum demand studies.
• Perform lighting photometric modelling and 3D design work using Revit MEP.
• Develop technical reports and electrical calculations.
• Collaborate with Architects, Fire Engineers and other disciplines.
• Provide support across multi-disciplinary design teams.
