Arup is offering an Industrial Placement for Building Services Electrical Engineer in London. You will join our multi-disciplinary design teams and work on power distribution, lighting and electrical systems for buildings worldwide, gaining hands-on experience across projects from concept to construction.

This 10-12 month internship includes an IET accredited training scheme and strong mentorship. You will develop technical skills in Revit MEP, 3D design, and electrical calculations while

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Architectural or Building Services Engineering (MEng/MS or strong Bachelors).
IET, CIBSE or Engineering Council accredited course preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Design power distribution, lighting, fire detection and earthing for buildings.
Perform short circuit and coordination studies.
Work in 3D using Revit MEP and develop electrical calculations.
Collaborate with architects and other disciplines.
Assist in project from concept to construction.
