AIXTRON Ltd. in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Graduate Electrical Controls Engineer to drive design improvements for MOCVD systems. You will engage across electrical design and testing, ensuring cutting-edge solutions while maintaining safety and current standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering or scientific degree (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with field-bus systems (DeviceNet, EtherCAT) and PLC control.
• Knowledge of drive systems, pneumatic control, and automation technology.
• Experience in electro-pneumatic/mechanical control, 3-phase power distribution and heater control.
• Understanding of machinery design legislation and standards.
• Experience with E-Plan software.

Responsibilities

• Configure system designs and controls to meet customer order requirements.
• Collaborate with production to resolve build/test issues.
• Provide technical support during system installation phases.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures.
