Role: Graduate Drainage Engineer
Location: Leeds

My client, an innovative UK-based Engineering Consultancy specialising in Civil, Structural, and Infrastructure Engineering, is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join their established team in Leeds. Applicants should have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline, including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, with a dissertation focused on SuDS Design or Infrastructure Design. It is advantageous for applicants to reside locally and have experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority on Flood Risk, Civil, or Drainage projects.

Candidates must live locally or be willing to relocate to Leeds, as in-office presence is required for training. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Development Projects, including Flood Risk Assessments, Hydraulic Modelling, Drainage Strategies, and Drainage Designs using Infodrainage, as well as roads and access road design with Civil 3D or AutoCAD. Support will be provided to complete:

• Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3
• Drainage Strategy and detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage
• Drainage Area Planning
• Civil Engineering design for Residential and Commercial Developments
• Road and Access Road Design using Civil 3D
