About The Role

Due to company growth, we are looking for a Drainage Engineer to also assist our groundwork teams.

Location: Manchester

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary: £27,040 - £39,160 (Salary range is reflective of experience and overtime included)

Responsibilities – But Not Limited To

Successful applicants will work on our drainage contracts using high-pressure water jetting and lead a two-person team attending groundwork projects, drainage-related minor repairs, reinstatements, pipework renewals, and patch lining fixes.

Your schedule will vary to include all types of clients and work sites. You will be traveling throughout the region in a company-provided vehicle with an excavation assistant, carrying out both commercial and residential works.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work in all weather conditions, provide excellent customer service, and adhere to all health and safety compliance procedures.

Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role

We are looking for an experienced Excavation/Groundworker ideally from the drainage/construction sector. Successful applicants will have experience in the following:

  • Fencing
  • Flagging and Paving
  • Concreting
  • Tarmacking

Applicants will ideally have a CSCS card as well as an NRSWA qualification and will be provided with training in the following:

  • Safe Dig
  • Cat and Genny
  • Shoring
  • Health and safety
  • Confined spaces
  • High Pressure Water Jetting
