Job summary

Tetra Tech, a leading engineering consultancy, invites graduates in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to join its Water Consultancy team in the UK. You will support engineering design across water and wastewater projects, building practical skills to improve resilience and sustainability of infrastructure.

Based in Derby, Sheffield, Leeds or Glasgow, the role offers hybrid working; you will start in-office and gradually combine home working with site visits, gaining exposure to client

Qualifications

Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
Interest in engineering design and the UK water sector.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Prepare technical information, calculations, drawings, schedules and reports for live design projects.
Interpret client requirements and assess design options.
Communicate technical information clearly within teams.
Take greater responsibility for defined design tasks and deliverables.
Travel occasionally to client sites and site investigations.
