Job summary

OCU Group seeks a Graduate Design Engineer in Scotland to join its Regulated Power team. Based in Glasgow or Perth, you will contribute to the design and development of critical infrastructure projects across utility and energy sectors.

You will learn across the full design lifecycle, produce engineering documentation, and support construction, maintenance and handover activities while developing technical and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Design Engineering with a minimum 2:2.
• A full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
• Experience from academic projects, placements or internships in design or infrastructure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations, design drawings and technical reports.
• Support site surveys and engineering design reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective designs.
