Job summary

OCU is recruiting a Graduate Engineer to support the design and development of critical infrastructure across the utility and energy sectors. Based in Glasgow or Perth, you will join our Engineering team to deliver safe, efficient design solutions for construction, maintenance and enhancement of essential networks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Design Engineering (minimum 2:2).
• 2:2 classification required or on track to achieve.
• Full UK driving licence beneficial for travel between offices/sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations, design drawings, technical reports and site surveys.
• Develop technical designs and engineering documentation to support project delivery.
• Support the delivery of projects that meet technical, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure practical and cost-effective designs.
• Visit operational and project sites to gain real-world insight into how designs are translated into construction.
