Job summary

Ferrovial Construction UK is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to support the delivery of the Calvert Infrastructure Maintenance Depot for the HS2 programme. You will work under Design Managers and with the site team as part of a two-year graduate development programme.

The role is based in Euston, London for the first 1–2 years, with regular site attendance at Calvert thereafter. You will develop technical and professional skills across engineering disciplines and contribute to safe, on-time

Qualifications

• Must have degree or master’s in engineering.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Analytical thinker who enjoys problem solving.
• Proactive and eager to learn within a graduate programme.
• Able to work effectively in a team and contribute to multidisciplinary design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of the Calvert Infrastructure Maintenance Depot (IMD) project.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and other professionals on multidisciplinary design solutions.
• Assist with RFIs between designers, contractors and the client using project document control systems.
• Support the preparation and distribution of project deliverables and documentation.
• Participate in design workshops, coordination meetings and project reviews.
