Job summary

The University of Exeter is looking for a Data Delivery Coordinator to join the South West Secure Data Environment (SWSDE) as part of the GBP scheme. You will support the Senior Data Delivery Manager in coordinating data onboarding, data availability and project delivery across NHS organisations and research partners.

You will gain hands‑on exposure to NHS datasets, information governance, and data delivery practices, developing expertise across health data, governance and regional initiatives.

Qualifications

• A degree (or expected degree award before commencing the placement) in any subject.
• You should have graduated from a UK university in the last 3 years.
• Evidence of strong academic achievement and the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding, management and use of datasets within the SWSDE, working closely with the Senior Data Delivery Manager and NHS data providers.
• Assist with feasibility assessments by gathering information on data availability, data quality, data flows and research requirements.
• Maintain records relating to datasets, research projects, data providers and delivery activities, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Work with NHS organisations, researchers, universities and internal SWSDE teams to support the successful delivery of research projects and data services.
• Produce reports, presentations and management information to support operational planning, performance monitoring and decision‑making.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of data delivery processes, guidance, documentation and operational procedures across the SWSDE.
