Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic graduates to join its Cover Supervisor Programme (CSP). No teaching qualifications required as full training is provided, with opportunities to gain classroom experience before applying for teacher training.

The role involves delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of a teacher, maintaining engagement, and developing classroom management skills, with flexible placements and potential progression into training.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will have a degree or relevant experience working with young people.
• Be confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour.
• Be adaptable, organised, and reliable.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service.
• Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Maintain student engagement and on-task behaviour.
• Support a smooth running of lessons and classroom routines.
