Job Description – Cover Supervisor

Pay- £85-£100 a day

Hours – Monday – Friday

Start- As soon as possible

Are you a Graduate looking for a role in Education? I am looking for individuals who have a passion for Education to work in a range of Dynamic Secondary Schools. As a Cover Supervisor you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of lessons in the absence of the Teacher. The ideal Cover Supervisor will have strong communication skills, strong classroom management and passionate about Education.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of a teacher
• Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task
• Manage any behaviour issues that may arise
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of student progress

Requirements:

• A degree or level 3 qualification with solid standards of literacy and numeracy.
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to manage behaviour effectively
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (if you don’t have one, we can help you apply for a new one through Educate).
