Gardiner and Theobald LLP in London is seeking a Graduate Assistant Surveyor (Cost Management) to join our QS department on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will work toward Chartered Membership of RICS while gaining hands‑on experience across multiple projects.

Qualificações

• Achieved or expected to achieve a 2:1 degree or above.
• Excellent working knowledge of current IT systems.
• Strong understanding of client care and relationship building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Trustworthy, reliable and professional in approach.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently and deliver to deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Measuring drawings and preparing cost plans using CostX and manual methods.
• Compiling contract documentation and pricing documents for tendering.
• Receiving tender submissions and preparing tender analysis reports.
• Reviewing tender returns and supporting contractor appointment decisions.
• Preparing cash flow forecasts for clients and attending site visits.
• Undertaking valuations of completed works and enabling payments.
• Supporting value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Attending project and design team meetings and coordinating with stakeholders.
