Job summary

Kent Plc is seeking a Graduate Control & Instrumentation Engineer for our Woking office. You’ll join a growing C&I engineering team, contributing to projects across oil & gas, energy, renewables, and utilities.

The role covers from concept through commissioning within a global graduate program that provides mentorship and hands-on experience. The programme emphasizes development, exposure to diverse projects, and collaboration with senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical/instrument engineering or related field.
• Awareness of international standards and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team on defined tasks under supervision.
• Contribute to the design and development of C&I systems through lifecycle stages.
• Review design docs and client standards for project compliance.
• Prepare and develop C&I deliverables including schedules, datasheets, diagrams and specs.
• Understand process operations and interactions between instrumentation, control, and safeguarding systems.
• Assist in equipment selection and integration with project requirements.
