Job summary

Essar Energy Transition invites graduates to join a non-rotational Control & Instrumentation Engineer programme at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex in Ellesmere Port. This 3-year fixed-term, site-based role offers exposure to automation, safety shutdowns and a wide range of department activities.

You will work toward technical competencies in safety, process control, instrumentation, and compliant operations while receiving strong mentorship and training.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an IET accredited MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering or related subject with at least a 2:1 grading.
• Programme develops core skills in safety, critical systems, environmental monitoring and compliance, process plant automation, instrumentation technology and control systems.
• Essar fully supports progression toward Chartered engineer status with IET.

Responsibilities

• Support a running production unit with automation and safety shutdown systems.
• Gain exposure to a wide range of activities within the department and business operations.
• Work across disciplines to resolve technical challenges and develop hands-on experience.
