Job summary

Workforce People and Data Ltd in Poole, Dorset, is seeking a Graduate Project Manager to join a specialist construction subcontractor. You will work alongside experienced project managers and site teams, receiving full training while gaining hands-on experience across live projects.

You will support projects from planning to completion, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget and to client specifications.

Qualifications

• A degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• Genuine interest in developing a career in project management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good IT skills and a proactive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and coordination of construction projects.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor project programmes and progress.
• Assist with procurement of materials and subcontract packages.
• Attend site meetings and project meetings.
• Help manage project documentation and records.
• Monitor health and safety requirements.
• Assist with cost control and project reporting.
• Coordinate deliveries and site requirements.
• Support project managers with day-to-day administration.
• Help resolve site and programme issues.
• Ensure works align with drawings, specifications and client requirements.
