Job summary

Binnies, part of the RSK Group, invites a Graduate Civil Engineer to help deliver clean water and wastewater infrastructure across the East of England. You’ll work with seasoned engineers and multidisciplinary teams, developing technical knowledge from feasibility to construction in a collaborative, supportive environment.

The role offers hybrid/flexible working, clear development toward Chartered status, and hands-on experience on projects that protect communities and the environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural engineering with 2:2 or above.
• Knowledge of concrete structural calculations and Eurocodes/BS standards.
• Awareness of water and wastewater design principles.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar tools.
• Strong communication, teamwork and analytical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development of civil designs and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Assist delivery of clean water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Apply BS/Eurocode standards to design tasks and sketches.
• Contribute to pipelines, channels and gravity/conduit design.
• Produce technical sketches and assist modelling using CAD software.
• Support feasibility to construction activities and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to resolve queries.
• Contribute to QA and adherence to programme, cost and quality.
