Job summary

Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is offering a Graduate Civil Engineer role within its Water Services team. You will work across the UK, gaining consultancy, design, delivery and project management experience on critical water infrastructure projects.

This graduate program is ideal for recent Civil Engineering or Water and Environmental Management graduates who want to develop technically and work toward professional qualification through an accredited training scheme.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering from ICE-accredited university or equivalent Water/Environmental Management qualification.
• Strong STEM/Geography grades are desirable.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
• Interest in water infrastructure and related engineering challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, plus ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive, methodical approach with strong planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver defined work packages within budgets and schedules, meeting client requirements.
• Understand project scope and identify changes and contractual implications.
• Interpret client briefs and design/performance requirements.
• Undertake feasibility studies, option appraisals, outline and detailed design work.
• Balance workloads across multiple projects with competing priorities.
• Prepare clear deliverables for varied audiences and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Project Managers and regional teams.
