Job summary

Binnies, part of the RSK Group, invites applications for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer (Delivery) to join our Delivery team across Redhill, Chester and Swansea. You will work on consulting, delivering and managing infrastructure projects in the water sector, developing technical and professional skills toward qualification.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and project teams, travel as required, and balance office work with client sites to gain hands-on experience and grow within

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (IMechE-accredited).
• Strong academic performance in STEM subjects.
• Interest in water/infrastructure sector.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Creative, practical, solution-focused engineering approach.
• Organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver defined packages of work safely, efficiently and within budgets and timescales.
• Understand project scope, client requirements and contractual changes.
• Translate customer needs into effective engineering solutions.
• Support feasibility studies, optioneering, outline design and detailed design activities.
• Manage and prioritise workloads across multiple projects.
• Produce clear, high-quality technical deliverables for the audience.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Project Managers and Regional Delivery Directors.
• Contribute within multidisciplinary project teams to deliver client requirements.
