Job summary

Arup is offering a graduate opportunity in Water Structures and Dams in the UK. You will be involved from concept through design and asset management, working with dam, flood defence and water treatment projects.

We seek graduates with a relevant degree and a clear path toward professional accreditation, ready to collaborate across disciplines and with clients and authorities across the country.

Qualifications

• Full working rights in the country of application
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role
• Recently graduated or on track to graduate before employment starts
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Geotechnical/Structural Engineering

Responsibilities

• Site visits including dam and water infrastructure asset inspections and condition assessments
• Carrying out assessment, options appraisal, analysis, and design
• Completing structural and hydraulic calculations and using modelling software to develop engineering solutions
• Liaising with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients across projects
