Stantec in Cardiff is offering a 2027 Graduate Programme for a Graduate Civil Engineer to support clean and wastewater infrastructure projects across Wales and the UK.

You will work in a local multidisciplinary team, contributing from feasibility to construction, gaining exposure to calculations, drawings, and reports while pursuing ICE chartered status. The role emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and office-based work four days a week with support towards ICE accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn across design, calculations and drawings.
• Interest in water sector projects and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support feasibility through to construction with detailed calculations, analysis and drawings.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related software to present design solutions.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, bids and proposals.
• Provide technical input on civil engineering aspects to the wider project team.
• Attend client meetings and workshops with colleagues from other disciplines.
