Job summary

Barhale is seeking a Graduate Site Engineer to join the frontline of project delivery on water and wastewater sites, supporting planning, coordination, and execution of civil, mechanical, or electrical works. This hands-on, site-based role offers exposure to major infrastructure projects and a path to a meaningful career in a future-proof industry.

Qualifications

2:2 degree or above in BEng or MEng/MSc in a relevant discipline.
CAD and BIM proficiency.
Detailed technical knowledge; inter-related engineering disciplines.
Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines.
Collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
Interest in infrastructure, construction or the built environment.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day site management, ensuring safe and efficient operations
Support setting out, surveying, and interpreting engineering drawings
Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials on site
Monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
Assist with environmental management and sustainability targets
Work closely with Project Managers and Senior Engineers to solve technical challenges
Contribute to project reporting and stakeholder communication
