Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join an expanding civil engineering consultancy in Wigan, working on infrastructure and drainage schemes from concept through to delivery. The role offers hands-on project experience, mentorship from experienced engineers, and a clear path to Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with structured development and professional training.

Salary up to £32,000 (DOE).

Competenze

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng preferred).
• Exposure to infrastructure, highways or drainage design through studies or placements is a plus.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Assist with the design and development of infrastructure and drainage schemes.
• Support the preparation of technical drawings, reports and calculations.
• Work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of projects.
• Develop understanding of design standards, regulations and industry best practice.
