Stantec is offering a Graduate Civil Engineer role in Newcastle as part of the 2027 Autumn Graduate Programme. You will join a team of 8 engineers, supporting MEP design delivery across multiple sectors. The role emphasizes learning, mentorship, and progression towards professional accreditation (IEng/CEng).

You will work with AutoCAD (Civils 3D) and collaborate across offices in the North East region, while developing technical and project coordination skills in a structured graduate programme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (ideally Civils 3D) beneficial.
• Interest in the Buildings sector.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calculations, technical reports and drawings.
• Prepare specifications, modelling and coordination of design information.
• Support delivery of MEP engineering designs and value engineering with health and safety focus.
