Job summary

Stantec is offering a graduate structural engineering role at our Newcastle office as part of the 2027 Graduate Programme. You will work across concept through to detailed design stages, modelling, and drawings, while engaging with clients and project teams to deliver safe, sustainable buildings.

You will develop professionally with senior support, attend site inspections, prepare proposals, and participate in STEM outreach. A UK-based graduate role with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering required.
• Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Project work from concept to detailed design, modelling and drawings.
• Prepare reports and provide client/project guidance.
• Undertake STEM engagement activities.
• Liaise with internal/external teams and build relationships.
• Manage own workload to meet deadlines.
• Engage with C&S division, Technical Leadership Team and Carbon Task Force.
• Arrange and attend meetings; take minutes and actions.
• Attend project team meetings and sites for inspections.
