Aldwych Consulting is seeking a proactive Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Maidstone team in Kent. This entry-level role offers exposure to drainage, flood risk, highways and development infrastructure within a supportive consultancy environment.

You will work with experienced engineers on a varied portfolio, gain practical experience from planning through to detailed design, and develop your technical skills while contributing to real projects for diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the wider team and progressively take on greater technical responsibility as experience grows.

Graduate Civil Engineer - Maidstone We are currently looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join a close-knit civil engineering consultancy in Maidstone, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate who is keen to start their career, gain practical experience and develop into a well-rounded civil engineer within a supportive consultancy environment. The business specialises in drainage, flood risk, highways, roads and wider development infrastructure, giving you the opportunity to gain exposure across several areas of civil engineering rather than being limited to one discipline.

The Role

• You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on a varied portfolio of development and infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to projects from early planning through to detailed design.
• Assist with drainage, highways, roads and infrastructure design across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, drawings, drainage strategies and flood risk information.
• Gain experience working on projects for a range of clients, including some particularly interesting work associated with Premier League football clubs.
• Support engineers throughout the project lifecycle while developing your understanding of design standards, planning requirements and construction.
• Work closely with the wider team and gradually take on greater technical responsibility as your experience develops.
