AECOM is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the Highways & Complete Streets team in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will contribute to a range of projects from concept through delivery, working within multi-disciplinary teams in a supportive environment.

As a graduate, you will be enrolled in the ADVANCE graduate development programme to build your professional skills and potentially work toward chartership, while gaining experience on local, national, and international projects.

Competenze

• BEng in Civil Engineering or General Engineering with 2:1 or above.
• MEng in Civil Engineering or General Engineering with 2:1 or above is an advantage.
• Relevant modules or experience in highways or transportation is a plus.
• Genuine interest in highways and streets engineering and safe, sustainable networks.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; good report-writing skills.

Mansioni

• Contribute to highway and street design and modelling.
• Assist in junction and intersection design/modelling.
• Support cycle lanes and active travel design.
• Assist with traffic signage and road markings.
• Perform network analysis and optimisation; assist feasibility studies.
• Develop cost-effective solutions for clients.
